The newsletter where I'm doing something a little crazy (or maybe just ambitious): building a business in public, one tool at a time.
If you’re like me, you’ve probably been dreaming of that unique business idea -
But you just don’t know where to get started, so the project never begins.
So instead of just quietly working behind the scenes, I've decided to just start making this business to test it out.
Think of this newsletter as a front-row seat to the rollercoaster ride of entrepreneurship.
You'll witness the highs, the lows, the unexpected twists and turns, and, most importantly, the tools I'm using (and sometimes struggling with) along the way.
Why "Testing the Waters"?
Two reasons:
Metaphorical: I'm venturing into uncharted territory, testing the waters of building a business from scratch.
Literal: Each week, I'll be diving deep into a different tool that's useful for business – from project management software and writing aids to design platforms and marketing automation. It’s a bit meta - we’re literally testing the waters together through this newsletter.
